Chemonics International, a U.S.- based international development consulting firm, seeks an Accounting Manager for the USAID/Kenya and East Africa Regional Intergovernmental Organization (RIGO) System Strengthening program. The program will provide organizational assistance to the East African Community (EAC), the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), and the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), and selected sub-entities and selected sub-entities. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred
- 5 years of progressively responsible experience in financial management
- Demonstrated experience in managing and supporting a financial and/or administrative team
- Experience with donor-funded development projects of a similar scale and scope, USAID preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
- Professional level of oral and written fluency in the English language required
