Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and circulating minutes at various team meetings
- Maintaining calendar for Executive Director
- Receiving and sorting incoming and outgoing emails
- Attending to visitors, handling telephone calls and general enquiries
- Organizing and maintaining an internal contact details database for partners
- Liaising with donor offices
- Co-ordinate the project’s calendar of events
- Event Management of scheduled events including fundraising
- Maintain and update the organisation’s website
- Carrying out human resource duties assigned by the supervisor
- Participate in Community outreach program whenever necessary
- Proposal and report writing
- Book keeping
- Program budget control
- Managing Employees payroll including maintenance of the statutory deductions files and ensure prompt payments of the statutory deductions, PAYE, NSSF, NHIF Taxes and tax exemptions
- Participate in audit processes
- Procurement of office items
- Maintaining both electronic and physical filling systems
- Any other duties as assigned by the management.
Qualifications and Skills for the Administrative Assistant Jobs in Kenya
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from a recognized institution
- CPA Part Two
- Competent in MS Office especially excel and word and presentation Office management skill
- Excellent writing skills
- Strong command of English
- Computer Literate
- Self-driven and with a lot of personal initiative
- Three years’ experience in a similar position
