PATH seeks a Director, Financial Management and Operations for a five-year, USAID funded, TB project aimed at improving TB case notification and treatment outcomes while addressing the underlying health system barriers that are critical to improving service delivery to contribute to ending the TB epidemic in Uganda.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee operations for all activity offices in Uganda, including oversight of procurement, grants, construction, logistics, human resources, accounting and finance, and records.
- Responsible for managing the contract budget.
- Prepare financial reports for submission to USAID.
- Ensure funds expended are compliant with USG regulations and policies.
- Implement fraud mitigation practices.
- Ensure systems and processes are implemented effectively to support implementation of the award.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Ten (10) years of experience managing, in increasing roles of responsibility, finance, procurement, contracts management, construction, logistics and/or human resource related matters for international development activities of similar dollar values.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience.
- Familiarity with USG financial reporting and compliance requirements.
- Experience in managing donor funded procurements and subcontracts/grants.
Must have legal authorization to work in Uganda.
