The GROW with Educare Centres project was incubated by a partnership between The Clothing Bank and Grow Learning Company. Both partners have a deep understanding of the core components required to establish successful, self-sufficient, independent business owners who are able to provide quality education.

The Centre seeks to appoint an Education Implementation Manager to be based in Cape Town.

Reports into:  Head of Operations / PM Cape Town

Duration: Full time position, five mornings in the field and afternoons in the office

Responsibilities:

GROW with Educare Centre visits:

  • Conduct 16 field visits to Centres under management per month (There will be 20 possible days in the field, thus 4 spare days per month)

Franchisees:

  • Franchisee Recruitment
  • Do all set up and preparation for open days for potential new Franchisees
  • Set up recruitment day
  • Ensure all new Franchisee files are set up and up to date
  • Make all new Operational Files – Finance, Admissions, Policies and Procedures, Staff and Education files for all new Franchisees
  • Arrange official welcome breakfasts for new GROW with Educare Centres
  • Invitations created and distributed
  • Caterer briefed
  • Set up and management of event
  • Franchise Meetings – Assist PM with the set up and preparation for monthly franchisee meetings

Training:

  • Prepare all training materials for all training interventions
  • Facilitate annual Education Training
  • Education Training (8 weeks over 4 months) to all Principals and Teachers of new GROW with Educare Centres
  • Work in conjunction with the Regional Implementation Managers for all soft skills training interventions – Life Skills training for all Franchise Owners – 5 Modules

Education Management:

  • Visit all Centres on a rotational basis to ensure curriculum and daily program is being implemented at the required standard
  • Implementation of Early Inspirations App
  • Site visit checklist
  • Development / Children Reports – oversee process –  biannually
  • Inventory checklist – oversee process – annually
  • Teacher Evaluations – oversee process – annually
  • Ensure appropriate classroom layout
  • Ensure health and hygiene standards are maintained
  • Provide weekly feedback to the Head of Operations / Regional Implementation Manager on Centres and create an action plan per Centre

Franchisee operational management and support:

  • Assist with the monthly Franchisee meetings
  • Train and implement 2 of the 5 file franchisee operating systems
  • Education Operation File
  • Administration and Policy and Procedures file
  •  Business Support
  • Support the Business Mentors with Registration Process for the Centre
  • Support the Business Mentors with the Government Subsidy Process for the Centres

Recruitment of new franchisees and implementation at new Centres

  • Assist Regional Implementation Managers to field initial calls
  • Assist in hosting of the information days
  • Do initial site visit to check viability with the Regional Implementation Manager
  • Set up and facilitate recruitment day
  • Assist Regional Implementation Managers to arrange final site visits before sign up – do infrastructure quotes
  • Manage the implementation process at new Centres (with Education Mentors)
  • Perform upfront inventory check

Ordering

  • Centres (Assist Regional Implementation Manager with ordering process)
  • Annual new Centres
  • Annual ordering of replacement equipment
  • Printing orders
  • Consumables orders

Infrastructure Upgrade

  • Accompany Regional Implementation Manager on visits with building manager to scope work so that quotes can be drawn up
  • Assist Regional Implementation Manager on 1st site inspection signs off for infrastructure upgraded
  • Assist Regional Implementation Manager on final site inspection

Parent Information

  • Attend parent information sessions at the Centres
