EOI: Consultancy work on the use of a kiln for production at Action Africa Help – International 37 views0 applications


AAH-Kenya, an affiliate Country Program of AAH-I, addresses development challenges in partnership with marginalized Kenyan communities mainly living in low income urban and rural settings including Arid and Semi-arid areas (ASALs). The AAH-I consortium supports integrated refugee and host community livelihood projects in Kakuma, under the host community livelihood project. One of the projects that have been considered for implementation is Kiln construction for production of building materials, ceramics, pottery and briquettes etc. Prior to the development of the kiln, AAHI intends to engage the services of a consultant to carry out the project activities.

The consulting firm is expected to construct and train 100 refugees and host community on the use of a kiln for production of building materials, energy-saving jikos, ceramics, pottery, briquettes, etc. The firm is also required to determine the technical feasibility of the idea and clearly outline how the micro project will be set up.

How to apply:

Application Instructions: Interested and qualified professionals (individuals or Institutions) should submit their applications/bids indicating that they are qualified to carry out similar assignments and appropriate skills to carry out the assignment. The individual must provide the following:

  1. Copy of Pin\tax Certificate.
  2. Tax Compliance Certificate
  3. List of past clients.
  4. CVs, Academic Qualifications, Testimonials showing availability of appropriate skills.

Interested bidders should send their proposals to [email protected] not later than 28th February 2017 at 12.00 hours.
