ASSET is a non-profit NGO which aims to provide opportunities for students from disadvantaged communities to realise their full educational potential, and to contribute to the process of educational transformation in South Africa. We are looking for an Executive Director who will be responsible for leadership, management and oversight of ASSET’s vision and who will be able to raise funding for ongoing programmes. Ideally, the successful candidate will have:

  • an appropriate university degree
  • experience in the NGO sector
  • experience working in education and training
  • an understanding of further education and higher education
  • some experience as a fund raiser
  • management experience in education, preferably some of which is in the NGO sector.
