Field Training Team Lead
Responsibilities
- Coordinate/deliver field trainingto extension agents from government, private sector, TM model and project partners, with a focus on training-of-trainers (TOTs) and reports to the DCOP
- Demonstrated experience supporting the Twigire Muhinzi Extension Model or other Farmer to Farmer models
- Responsible for the development of extension and training materials, based on technical input from the Productivity Team, RAB and partners
- Work closely with the Productivity Team Lead to ensure that that training feedback is incorporated into training material design
- Manage team of field-based staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in, agriculture, environment, natural resource management, rural development economics, or related field of study or equivalent work experience.
- Ten (10) years of progressively responsible work experience implementing multi-sector agricultural development programs with demonstrated strong management and coordinating skills.
- Five (5) years of management experience on projects of similar complexity with experience with direct supervision of professional, managing teams and support staff and assembling teams working on multi-faceted international development programs.
- Strong technical expertise in agriculture development, and/or natural resources management, climate change, nutrition and proven ability to facilitate and establish private sector partnerships.
- A familiarity with addressing gender equality and climate resilience in agriculture is preferred.
- Demonstrated, excellent writing and oral presentation skills in English and Kinyarwanda language skills are required.
