Society for Family Health (SFH) is a South African affiliate of Population Services International (PSI), an international NGO network operational in over 70 countries. SFH in South Africa concentrates on issues of HIV/ AIDS. As part of their HIV/AIDS control efforts, SFH is using social marketing to motivate behaviour change with respect to consistent condom use, HIV testing and other safer behaviours.
RESPONSIBILITIES include:
- Follow the recruitment process according to the recruitment and selection policy
- Create a personnel file as well as payroll submission of new incumbents
- Lead the onboarding process as stipulated in the onboarding policy
- Prepare the skills development plan for the organization and ensure timely submission, as well as reporting back on the annual training plan, and annual EE report
- Develop and keep quarterly reports of the personnel enrolled for trainings and interns on progress towards the completion of their course/ development period
- Manage and provide support to the organization of the performance management process
- Provide advice and assistance to management regarding disciplinary matters
- Provide training and guidance to management on procedures and applications associated with specific employment relations processes
- Support all payroll related processes and monthly input file in support of the payroll process
- Collect timesheets and submit to finance department by the 3rd of each month
- Manage employee exit process
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in HR / or equivalent
- Registration with a HR professional body will be an added advantage
- Must have a minimum 3 years previous working experience as a HR Generalist
- Knowledge of all relevant
- Must have experience on MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Presentation Skills
- Valid driver’s license Ability to work independently and pro-actively, and as part of a team
- Driver’s License and ability to travel when required
