PACFaH Evaluation Objective: Social Impact has been contracted by the development Research and Projects Center (dRPC) to evaluate PACFaH, a three-year project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation since 2014. PACFaH is a partnership of seven Nigerian Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) aimed to bridge the gap in advocacy for child and family health in Nigeria by mobilizing indigenous and building partnerships among CSOs to advocate at the state and national levels. The goal of the PACFaH project is to improve the child and family health in Nigeria through increased responsiveness, purposeful actions and accountability by the Government of Nigeria (at national and state levels) to deliver on existing pledges and initiate new reforms to increase budgets, introduce dedicated budget-lines, release funding in a timely manner, ensure judicious spending, and implement enabling policies and administrative guidelines.

Position Description: Social Impact is seeking a short-term Logistician to support a team of technical experts evaluating the PACFaH project. The evaluation aims to explain how well PACFaH worked to accomplish its goals as well as understand PACFaH’s participatory and dynamic implementation model to improve CSO capacity for advocacy. The assignment will take place in Nigeria, with an expected period of performance from April to July 2017. Data collection is planned for May/June 2017. The focal states for data collection include: Kaduna, Lagos, Niger, Kano, Bauchi, Nasarawa, and Oyo.

**Please note: this is a local position. Only candidates with Nigerian citizenship will be considered.**

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all operations and logistics of the evaluation
  • Arrange meetings and transport
  • Provide regular updates to evaluation team and headquarters support team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in administration or logistics of public health projects
  • Knowledge and familiarity with the security situation and security
  • Basic budgeting skills exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel in focal states for data collection
  • Fluency in English required
  • Strong English writing skills
  • Local language skills for the following states desired: Kaduna, Lagos, Niger, Kano, Bauchi, Nasarawa, Oyo
