We seek to recruit a Program Officer who will take Responsibility for coordinating the Office of the Chief of Party, Senior Management team, and the team leaders’ logistics, Maintain the Chief of Party’s calendar and daily schedule, arrange meetings and plan his itineraries, monitor and manage all correspondence and ensure timely and appropriate response, arrange and schedule meetings with partner representatives, officials from relevant government ministries and individuals of interest to APHIAplus project. The Program Officer will be based in Kisumu, Kenya.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities.
- Screen visitors and calls for the Chief of Party.
- Prepare periodic reports on the duties performed.
- Maintain a database of files and records for the project.
- Prepare and share the Highlights of the Chief of Party’s diary.
- Compile and follow up on work plans of APHIAplus project staff.
- Sit in meetings with the Chief of Party and record the proceedings of the meetings.
- Monitor and manage all correspondence and ensure timely and appropriate response.
- Edit and prepare documentation of key achievements for the USAID quarterly reports
- Maintain the Chief of Party’s calendar and daily schedule, arrange meetings and plan his itineraries.
- Ensure timely follow-up and delivery of materials and information related to the functions of the Chief of Party.
- Take Responsibility for coordinating the Office of the Chief of Party, Senior Management team, and the team leaders’ logistics.
- Arrange and schedule meetings with partner representatives, officials from relevant government ministries and individuals of interest to APHIAplus project.
Required Experience
- Good personal skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Proficient in MS office/computer skills.
- Minimum Diploma holder in Business Management or related course
- 2 Years’ Experience in a similar position preferably in an NGO set up.
You must currently have legal authorization to work in Kenya.
