About the role:
The role works within the International programmes family and the wider programme funding remit. The role is key in providing technical support to the Zimbabwe Christian Aid partners and programme through effective grant disbursement and project management. The role works with diverse funding sources to ensure that; faith institutions, government departments and other civil society organisations respond to the issues of inequality including gender based violence, resource distribution and environmental stewardship. A key delivery area for this role is to document evidence of change brought about by the interventions using robust monitoring, evaluation and learning tools and methodologies. The role will support implementation of Christian Aid in Zimbabwe’s gender strategy encompassing both programme and institutional work as well as support other Christian Aid policies and strategies. The role will also engage with and promote communications and fundraising from institutional donors and representing Christian Aid in relevant forums.
About you:
You have experience working with a diverse portfolio of partners in consortiums. You have experience meeting the compliance and reporting requirements of institutional donors. Your expertise on programme management includes inclusion, accountability and some experience working with faith groups and men. You are competent in the use of various monitoring, evaluation and learning tools and methodologies are able to strengthen partner capacity. You have a sound knowledge of advocacy, campaigning and lobbying and are to build networks. You will have a degree in social sciences or related fields.
