Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Program Manager, the successful candidates will be responsible for the following amongst others:
- Overall responsible for day to day administration of the facility.
- Monitoring and supervision of the staff to ensure that work is done properly and efficiently.
- Review, authorize and keep accurate records of all requisitions, duty rosters and applications for staff leave
- Monitor and ensure the proper usage of facility supplies.
- Assessing, planning and implementing agreed Kibera facility plans and evaluating the effectiveness of care given to patients
- Applying the standard and procedures of nursing care and implementing agreed individual care plans to provide quality nursing care.
- Exercising and ensuring professionalism at all times at Kibera facility
- Effective reporting and communication skills
- Championing continual improvement and patient centered care.
- Ensuring nursing and clinical protocols are adhered to
- Being an effective advocate for patients
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- KRN (Kenya registered Nurse)/KRM (Kenya Registered Midwife) /KRCHN (Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse) or BsN
- Additional qualifications in higher diploma specialized nursing will be an added advantage.
- 5 years’ minimum post qualification nursing experience.
- Customer excellence orientation
- Conscientious and detail oriented
