PATH seeks a Senior Technical Advisor for a five-year, USAID funded, TB project aimed at improving TB case notification and treatment outcomes while addressing the underlying health system barriers that are critical to improving service delivery to contribute to ending the TB epidemic in Uganda. The Senior Technical Advisor will directly assist the Chief of Party in the design, implementation and monitoring of high impact TB control interventions.
Required Experience
- A Master’s degree in Medicine, Public Health with three years of experience delivering TB or TB/HIV services OR A Bachelor’s degree with five years of professional exposure working in mid to senior management position.
- A minimum of seven years of progressively increasing responsibility working for successful TB technical assistance programs.
- Demonstrated expertise and experience in service quality improvement and operational research approaches.
- Experience and experience in designing and implementing successful facility and community based integrated health services.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in successfully engaging in the private sector.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, depth and breadth of management experience.
- Experience with integration of gender and youth analysis into health projects and services.
- Excellent interpersonal, writing, and oral presentation skills.
Must have legal authorization to work in Uganda.
