Early Career Professionals Programme (ECPP)

  • SFH is looking for talented young people with a track record of academic excellence to join our vibrant workforce under our Early Career Professionals Programme (ECPP).
  • We seek people who are analytical, problem solvers, self-motivated, achievement oriented, innovative and who can think ‘outside-the-box’ to cope with the ever-changing business environment.
  • We invite applications from people who are interested in building a career with SFH and who demonstrate the potential to move up the career ladder quickly to assume leadership positions in the future.

Requirements
Interested candidates must:

  • Have graduated from the University with a minimum of Second Class (Upper Division) or have an HND  with upper credit (see categories of careers / professions and degree/disciplines below)
  • Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years and maximum of 5 years post NYSC experience
  • Possession of a relevant Masters’ Degree will give an added advantage
  • Show adaptability, willingness to learn new skills and commitment to exceptional delivery
  • Possess exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Be innovative and creative
  • Have a minimum of 5 O’ level credits (including English & Mathematics) at ONE sitting
  • Registration with a relevant professional body will give an added advantage
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite at the minimum.
  • Other computer skills will be of added advantage

Skills and Competencies Required:

  • Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Proficiency with different digital communication channels
  • Excellent social media engagement and management skills
  • Excellent digitai marketing skills
  • Proficiency with public relations management
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Ability to create digital media content
  • Ability to manage traditional media services and relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language
  • Team player who works under pressure to meet deadlines

Founded in 1985 by three eminent Nigerians: Professor Olikoye Ransome-Kuti (late), Justice Ifeyinwa Nzeako (late), Pharmacist Dahiru Wali and Phil Harvey.Society for Family Health Nigeria has a mission to empower Nigerians, particularly the poor and vulnerable to lead healthier lives.Working with the private and public sectors, SFH adopts social marketing and behaviour change communication to improve access to essential health information, services, and products to motivate the adoption of healthy behaviours.By 2017, SFH will be a strong, vibrant, highly efficient organisation conducting value for money (efficient) scalable yet focused interventions. Using a total market approach (using social marketing, free distribution and cost recovery services) SFH will be implementing projects that will target:50% of the burden of disease in Nigeria 50% of persons within the lower 3 wealth quintiles, who will have access to SFH products or interventions A 5% increase in DALYs yearly with 2012 as the baseline SFH will also have a 10% decrease in cost per DALY averted over the period of 2013-2017 using the 2012 value as deadline, and will have generated a 20% increase in unrestricted funds by 2017 compared to 2012. SFH will have developed a plan to spin off a subsidiary conducting logistics, research training, costs recovery products and specific interventions aimed at the for-profit sector including the oil and manufacturing sectors.
