PSI is looking for an experienced and motivated accountant to carry out the day-to-day bookkeeping of the sub-regional office, including recording income and expenditure for PSI core budget as well as project activities. The position will conduct accounting and finance activities in line with established policy and local regulatory requirements and will also assist with the general administration duties of the sub-regional Office.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in accounting and at least two (2) years of experience in accounting and financial management preferably within the trade union movement, civil society or equivalent.

A demonstrated understanding of financial reporting and audit requirements would be an advantage.

In addition to be an excellent team player, the candidate should be able to communicate with colleagues from different backgrounds with proven commitment to gender equality. Excellent English communication skills (oral and written) are essential.

This is a permanent position.
