For its headquarters in BANGUI (Central African Republic), Amici per il Centrafrica Onlus (ACA), Administrative Accountant which, reporting to the project leader and / or country manager, will take care of:

  • the administrative and financial management of the projects, according to the procedures of the donors and the internal procedures of ACA;
  • the supervision of project accounting under the coordination of the Country Administrator and the ACA Desk in Italy;
  • the verification of the conformity of the documentation produced with respect to the procedures of the Donors, the internal procedures of ACA and the law of the country of intervention (RCA);
  • the management of the relationship with the Donors in relation to the administrative issues of the project, in synergy and collaboration with the administrative office of the headquarters and the ACA coordination in Bangui;
  • the preparation of financial reports for donors according to their procedures;
  • the preparation of the documents for the audit processes and the supervision during the same audits;

Is required:

  • University degree in Economics or Financial Disciplines awarded for a minimum of 3 years;
  • Biennial prior experience in the administration of projects financed by AICS, EU and other institutional donors, preferably carried out in French-speaking countries of Equatorial Africa;
  • Acquired knowledge of the project management and accounting procedures of the main international donors, in particular of AICS;
  • Ability to work under stress in complex socio-cultural contexts and for composite organizations;
  • Problem solving and team working skills;
  • Excellent written and spoken knowledge of the French language and good knowledge of Italian;
  • Ability to use the application packages of the Office operating system, in particular of XLS;
  • Availability to operate locally for a period of at least 12 months.
