Centre Manager

Description:

Position Summary
The centre manager position is a high level and sensitive position that will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Neem Borno centre including managing all staff and centre activities. Forming an essential component of the centre; he/she will be responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing all of the centre’s activities/projects, and ensuring that it runs smoothly at all times according to plan.

Job Functions

  • Applicants should be able to demonstrate an ability to lead, motivate and manage staff members.
  • Liaise regularly with Neem Foundation Headquarters on all project and related matters.
  • Take responsibility for the effective flow of information between Neem Foundation HQ and project team members.
  • Manages timetabling of the centre and its various activities,
  • Run, administer, and organize project activities.
  • Ensure the effective preparation and delivery of all project events and meetings.
  • Implement agreed action plan to high quality standards and within deadlines.
  • Evaluation of project activity and regular reporting on project progress to Neem HQ.
  • Provide periodic project update report

Qualifications, Skills, Experience
Education:
University Degree in any field. Masters Degree in Administration or Management is an added advantage.

Job Requirements:

  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
  • Strong sense of and respect for confidentiality
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Ability to manage conflict and resolve complaints
  • Proficiency in using Micro-soft office package
  • Language Skills
  • English Language (Fluent) and Basic understanding of Hausa language or any other local language in Borno State.

Others
Must have strong interest Programme Implementation and Administration; working and helping people rebuild their lives and work towards the development of Borno State.
