About us:

Amazi Water is the primary, in-country partner for clean water projects in Burundi. In collaboration with others, we are developing a national water strategy with the goal of providing sustainable access to clean water in every community by the end of 2028.

About the Role:

Amazi Water is currently experiencing rapid growth and are seeking a dynamic and eager Community Mobilization Manager to join our team.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage community assessment team, to include reporting and data management,
  • Train and manage process for survey and water assessment process,
  • Train teams on hygiene training and Community assessment standards,
  • Support design of effective water solutions
  • Manage national Water Coverage Strategy Plan (WCS),
  • Manage water system maintenance teams
  • Work effectively with government and implementation partners
  • Ensure efficiency of the intervention and effectiveness of the approaches used and overall sustainability the infrastructures,
  • Manage and report of third-party funding
  • Effectively manage data collection and analysis
  • Support Monitoring and Evaluation
  • Support others department in all duties that lead to effective and efficiency of Amazi Water business,
  • Represent Amazi Water in national and international WASH meetings
  • Briefing partners prior to field work.
  • Guiding the fieldwork and ensuring quality of the information collected
  • Other duties related to Amazi Water

Requirements for this position:

· Bachelor Degree Requested

· At least 5 years of professional experience in similar work in East Africa Counties.

· Manage field assessment team for assessment of community, health indicators, water needs and population

· Help design efficient water solutions

· Understand and train hygiene training

· Successfully management multiple teams of 10 with supervisors

· Make schedules

· Report monthly

· Team building and hiring

· WCS team management or support operations
