Purpose of the Assignment
The main purpose of the consultancy is to:
- Coordinate with countries for early submission of quality data
- Generate relevant data for donors reporting and proposal (Sahel regional grants)
- Provide required information for monitoring of Sahel response and liaison with cluster/ coordination group, HPM, HRP and HNO and OCHA
Assignment Tasks – Expected Deliverables
The consultant will be based in the regional office with direct interaction and supervision from the emergency nutrition and resilience specialist. The consultant will interact with COs nutrition team for specifics tasks and consolidate the information for review and use at different levels of the nutrition section.

Management, Organization and Timeframe
Supervisor: Nutrition Specialist (emergency nutrition and resilience)
Frequency of performance review: monthly at the reception of monthly report; final evaluation at the end of contract.
Performance indicators for evaluation of results:
- Timely submission of Sahel IMAM follow up
- Timely submission of RUTF pipeline follow up from coordination with supply section
- Provide required information for donors reports
- Follow up of internal HPM and OCHA requests, and timely preparation of material requested.
Qualifications of Successful Candidate
Education
At least a master degree in nutrition or public health or related field – or equivalent professional experience
Years of relevant experience
At least 5 years of experience in program and information management related to nutrition or humanitarian field. Experience in donors’ reporting is an asset (Job level L3)
LANGUAGES
Fluency in French and English.
