  • Manage a team of Program Coordinators and Technical Specialists
  • Lead the development and implementation of the Programs Team annual workplan with clear and measurable objectives and priorities, deadlines, and budget requirements
  • With support from global technical teams and relevant country program staff, support the recruitment and management of Malawi-based LMH staff

  • Significant team management and coaching background, with proven ability to rapidly build technical and non-technical skills among your team
  • Ability to navigate complex government processes, and problem-solve to negotiate and achieve consensus with multiple influencers on high-stakes and time-sensitive projects

You’ll Impress Us If

  • You’ve had experience leading a start-up team or launching a new project
  • Demonstrated familiarity with core issues of health systems development, especially training and performance management, monitoring and information systems, and health financing; technical background in one of these areas strongly preferred

We’re supporting the Government of Liberia to implement a nationwide community health worker program that will bring lifesaving care to the doorsteps of 1.2 million people living in remote communities. As we take on this groundbreaking work, we’re generating evidence of our impact and advocating on a global stage for investment in community health workers.Founded through the hopefulness and resolve of health workers in the aftermath of Liberia’s devastating civil war, we have learned over the years that we are not defined by the crises that strike our lives, but by how we respond to them.
