  • Support the project manager in facilitating, maintaining and consolidating collaborative and action relationships with the main project partners and stakeholders in their sector
  • At the request of the project manager, take part in external meetings (meetings with partners and other coordination groups)
  • Support as needed the other national thematic experts of the project, in particular on specific issues related to gender
  • Contribute to reporting
  • Monitor the project’s gender indicators
  • Support the drafting of reports by ensuring the integration of a gender perspective: periodic activity reports, training reports, workshop reports, documentation and monitoring, internal evaluation and learning, etc.
  • Collect and analyze data from a gender perspective to feed the reports and work plans to be produced by the Manager or the project manager
  • Participate in internal coordination

Headquartered in Montreal (Canada) since 1994, the International Bureau for Children's Rights (the Office or IBCR) is an international non- governmental organization whose mission is to contribute to the promotion and protection of children's rights worldwide according to the Convention of the United Nations children's rights in 1989. with the aim to support the effective implementation of the Convention in Burkina Faso, it is essential to develop an efficient strategy for capacity building actors of the child protection system.

FOUNDED IN 1994, THE INTERNATIONAL BUREAU FOR CHILDREN’S RIGHTS IS AN INTERNATIONAL NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANISATION THAT HAS CONSULTATIVE STATUS WITH THE ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL COUNCIL OF THE UNITED NATIONS (ECOSOC).

The IBCR team is made up of 30 professionals as well as numerous qualified interns. Together, they promote children’s rights across the Americas, the Middle East and Asia. The team also includes coordinators and volunteers who work in the field with the Bureau’s local partners.

Since its creation, the IBCR has carried out mandates in nearly 45 countries and shared its expertise with more than 50,000 people to help them better protect the rights of thousands of children.
