Responsibilities & Duties:

Support project manager through overseeing implementation and synergies between different elements of project implementation, while ensuring implementation are on track.

Provide technical assistance and capacity building to community volunteers on key areas of project implementation, to ensure the impact of interventions.

Conduct field visits to monitor field level activities.

Lead in monitoring results to ensure that the project achievements are in line with target indicators, and impact is monitored and documented

Maintain records of all target achievements/indicators to monitor progress.

Support in the timely preparation and quality control of technical reports, briefs and required project documents.

Support in collection of background documents related to the migrants and refugees in the country to inform ERC on key issues of the humanitarian/resilience situation in the country.

Participate in HQ meetings, providing technical assistance on issues of migration and community development.

Identify sources of information related to key humanitarian/resilience policy issues. Identification and synthesis of best practices and lessons learned directly linked to project goals.

Support in the development of networking with the local agencies, government institutions, private sector, civil society in the area of humanitarian action, resilience, health and social development.

Draft sections of quarterly, annual, and final reporting to Project manager, including follow-up with staff for additional details.

Provide relevant materials, case studies, photographs, events and media contacts in line with ERC organizational profile in coordination with ERC Media and commutation department.

Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms; expressing complex and technical terminology and concepts in an understandable manner.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field such as but not limited to social studies, development studies, peace studies, political science or a related field.

At least 3 years of professional experience in civil society or educational program or developmental program.

Essential computer literacy (word, excel and internet)

Strong experience with monitoring tools and systems.

Demonstrate experience with different donors’ compliance and reporting

Understanding of humanitarian operations principles, standards and best practices

Experience of training and capacity building.

Ability to write clear and well-argued.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage efficiently multiple priorities, deadlines and tasks with attention to details.

Strong reporting skills.

Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Arabic is an asset.
