Partners for Development (PfD) is currently recruiting a finance/accounting intern to start in Fall of 2017. Interns at PfD are an integral part of the team and will have the opportunity to learn and gain hands-on experience in the field of international development. The Finance Intern will work directly with our Senior accountant.

SPECIFIC DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

  • Assisting with accounting journal entries, accounts payables and payroll
  • Assisting with the development of systems and tools related to financial grant or financial project management.
  • Updating budget tracking tools
  • Assisting with various administrative duties

QUALIFICATIONS:

Advanced degree candidate (Accounting/Finance). Demonstrated interest in international relief and development. Excellent verbal and written skills.

The internship will take place at PfD’s Silver Spring headquarters; domestic/regional applicants only. Interns will receive Lunch/transport stipend initially; increase possible dependent on budget and performance.
