Plan International CAR field office has gone through a series of fraud incidents that involved different employees. As result the RG CFU unit conducted onsite investigations that resulted in the need of a temporally staff in Finance department. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating, under the Country Finance Manager, the daily finance operations tasks.

 The proposed points to be covered during the induction are:

  1. Coordinate the accounting sections of Bangui office
  2. Provide financial review on purchase requisitions and payment requests with right budget codes by ensuring compliance, reliability and accuracy of back up documents, advise the CFM and operations departments when necessary:
  3. Review the national staff payroll, provide feedback to HR when necessary and ensure monthly salary cost booking into SAP.
  4. Process the payment of the salaries and related taxes to relevant government bodies on time manner to avoid fines.
  5. Post into SAP the pre-registered payments done by the finance assistants
  6. Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for Bangui based bank accounts and TBB
  7. Analyze staff Bangui based staff advances on regular basis and ensure liquidation within the time limits set in accordance with Plan Operational Manual,
  8. Coordinate the transfer of funds to sub offices in accordance with Plan security standards.
  9. Analyze on monthly basis the deposit (C16) and Accruals (23) accounts and send to the business Analyst the reconciled accounts status.
  10. Prepare Bangui office donor reports with related logging sheets and send them to the National Accountant for review,

Qualification and Experience:

  • Relevant financial qualification.
  • Relevant experience of 5 years and more in a similar role and in the humanitarian field.
