TATU PROJECT

TATU Project is a non-profit organization that facilitates equal and sustainable development for the rural community of Msitu wa Tembo and Londoto in Northern Tanzania. We address community needs and build effective solutions through active collaboration with members of the community and relevant stakeholders.

THE COMMUNICATION & FUNDRAISING DEPARTMENT

TATU Project is an organization that depends on its own funding activities as well as external funding. The main point of our strategy is to have a variety of income sources and try to be as sustainable as possible.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Fundraising Assistant will support the Communication & Fundraising department. Currently, TATU Project is developing new programs and for these, we will need to work on consolidating frameworks and proposals as well as strategize our best options for funding. The Fundraising Coordinator would be involved in those discussions, and support the different strategies at hand. Once funding has been obtained and for other existing programs, the fundraising coordinator will also support the donor/partners strategy in order to foster our relationships and to harmonize and improve the reporting process/format. We want our partners to feel involved in the projects and we want to be 100% transparent in the process. It would also be interesting to review our current process in tracking
donations and sponsors and sharing our gratefulness. We would like to improve how to keep them involved, how to express our gratefulness in a way that is in line with our work, values and fairness to all supporters of TATU Project.
