Just Grace NPC is a non-profit organisation that runs various community empowerment initiatives in Langa Township, Cape Town.

Just Grace NPC seeks to appoint a part-time fundraising officer to be based in Cape Town.

Remuneration: R 4 000 per month for 20 hours per week (negotiable).

The purpose of the position is to assist in implementing the overall fundraising strategy of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • researching potential funders and leads;
  • writing reports for grants;
  • writing fundraising proposals, concept notes, and letters on inquiry;
  • compiling budgets for programmes.

Requirements:

  • be passionate about non-profit organisations and social justice;
  • have appropriate experience in writing and fundraising;
  • have appropriate skills in writing and fundraising (demonstrated through a degree or otherwise);
  • have an excellent command of written and spoken English;
  • be organised, proactive and metriculous.
