Doctors with Africa CUAMM is the first healthcare-focused NGO officially recognized in Italy.
Founded in 1950 with the aim of training doctors to work in developing countries, CUAMM is currently implementing healthcare projects in partnership with local governments and institutions in Angola, Central African Republic, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda.

JOB TITLE: GBV and MPHSS Project Manager

JOB LOCATION: Mozambique, Pemba

START DATE: mid-end April 2021 (project awaiting approval)

DURATION: 6 months REQUIREMENTS

  • University Degree in Psychology or related disciplines
  • Good knowledge of Portuguese
  • Solid experience in team and project management; previous experience in implementing/managing projects on Mental Health, Psychosocial support and Gender Based Violence will be considered an asset
  • Preferable previous experience in African context
  • Adaptability

KEY DUTIES
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of the project and the achievement of the expected objectives.
In particular s/he will have to:

  • select, coordinate and manage the staff of the project
  • provide technical support in the GBV and MHPSS field
  • support the creation and strengthening of data collection tools and monitoring and evaluation tools in the GBV/MHPSS field
  • review and share program specific tools, resources and content and work with the experts of the technical units to contextualise and adapt materials
