World Together Ethiopia is an international NGO operating in Ethiopia with the vision of helping and supporting the poorest segment of the population. The organization is currently seeking to employ well experienced and qualified applicant for General Maintenance Worker position.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Properly manage maintenance works to electrical breakdowns that happen in the College and World Together Main Office
- Operate and provide necessary services to the Generators found in the College and World Together Main Office
- Properly manage maintenance works to failures in water systems that happen in the College and World Together Main Office
- Properly manage maintenance works to failures in construction(cracks of buildings, sewerages blockings, etc) that happen in the College and World Together Main Office
- Welcome sudden calls to fix problems related to the aforementioned provisions in the College and World Together Main Office if they happen to be on off working days
- Fix problems on water, Electricity etc…
Term of Employment: contractual, renewable yearly based on satisfactory performance
Job Requirements
Education
- Level IV in Building Electrical Installation/Motor Installation/Water System Management
- CoC certificate in Electricity/Building Electrical Installation /Building Construction/ Water System Management
Work Experience and other requirements
- Proven work experience as Electrician, Workshop Technician
- Demonstrated skill in Generator maintenance
- Demonstrated skill in Building Construction
- Demonstrated skill in Water System Management
Accountability
- The general maintenance worker will be accountable to the Administrator of the College
The General maintenance worker will also give services at:
- World Together Main Office located near to Urael Church
