Vacancy: Project Administrator / Secretary
The Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) in South Africa is seeking to employ a Project Administrator / Secretary based at our office in Cape Town.
Job description
- Correspondence in German and English
- Drafting meeting agendas and meeting notes
- Updating director’s diary and arranging meetings
- Organising director’s travel arrangements
- Assisting with accounting processes, working with relevant software as well
- Participation in planning and organising of conferences, seminars, workshops
- Making program arrangements for delegation visits in South Africa and abroad
- Assisting project officers / the director in implementing the Foundation’s projects
- General office admin and filing
- Guest hospitality services
- Procurement
- Administration of Petty Cash
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A tertiary degree in a relevant subject or an excellent Matric Certificate
- At least two years working experience in a similar role
- Ability to work independently and accurately in a fast-paced environment, with
- great attention to detail and a solution oriented, positive mind-set
- Excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills
- Well-developed writing skills in English and German
- Commitment to the vision and mission of the Hanns Seidel Foundation
- A South African work permit
