About the role

The role sits within the DRC Country Program and reports to the Country Director. The post holder
will represent and be responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring and
reporting of CA DRC’s strategy on governance, Peace and poverty reduction through development
programming. The post holder will be based in Kinshasa, Goma or Kindu with considerable travel
and engagement in eastern DRC and Kasai as well as in international and regional forums

About you

The Program Manager – Governance, implements and coordinates programs across governance, peace
and development projects that effectively alleviate human suffering and tackle the root causes of poverty.
Ensure a clear strategic alignment between projects within the governance, peace and development
sectors, humanitarian approaches and the CA DRC Country strategy. Effectively develop and deliver
multi-year complex programs that integrate governance, peace and development activities. Increases
CA DRC’s role and leadership support to Civil Society Organizations and their development in areas of
the country program’s geographic focus
