PURPOSE OF POSITION (THIS POSITION WILL BE LOCATED AT BUJUMBURA)
The purpose of this position is to oversee and ensure quality of the implementation of a WASH Project funded by UNICEF (Improving hygiene conditions in communities’ vulnerabilities of Buterere and the municipality of Cibitoke and areas to high risk of cholera and COVID-19 Project) to ensure the continuity and safety from risks of infection for the population groups most exposed and vulnerable to cholera and the COVID-19 pandemic in the target provinces. The primary responsibility of a Grant Coordinator is to keep the project and all related processes running smoothly. This includes project design, ToR elaboration, project implementation, monitoring, and O&M training. Responsibilities also include the provision of technical guidance and implementation support to partners in water supply and sanitation facilities construction and rehabilitation at communities and publics institutions (schools, healthcare and public places) in order to achieve the desired high impact on child and communities’ wellbeing.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- A university bachelor degree in one of the following fields is required: public health, social sciences, behavior change communication, sanitary engineering or another relevant technical field.
- Relevant experience of at least 3 years in Public Health or Water, Sanitation and Health programming with reputable institution, national or international NGO.
