Christian Aid is now looking to recruit a Grants Accountant EU TWITEHO AMAGARA Project to support our development and humanitarian work in Burundi and across Africa.

About the role

The role is responsible for managing EU funded health project financial management and providing leadership to the financial unit of the project. The role will work closely with the World Vision Burundi Finance team to provide accurate financial returns.

The Grants Accountant EU TWITEHO AMAGARA Project must be able to effectively communicate Christian Aid ethos and demonstrate a quality of spiritual life that serves as an example to others.

About you

Candidate should have a good knowledge and expertise in cash management, financial reporting and analysis. Minimum undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Studies, Auditing or related field. Minimum 3 years in accounting as senior staff. Experience of managing grants/contracts from institutional donors (ECHO, DFID, Global Fund, UN). The role also requires fluency in French and English. This is a three-year Fix term contract subject to the performance.
