About the Role:

Amazi Water is currently experiencing rapid growth and are seeking a dynamic and eager IT Coordinator to join our team.

The candidate should be a self-starter with solid integration skills who is able to work independently and handle multiple integration aspects of a program. The candidate should be able to support limited yearly travel to support integration and interface testing, customer installations and troubleshooting/grooming systems.

About us:

Amazi Water is the primary, in-country partner for clean water projects in Burundi. In collaboration with others, we are developing a national water strategy with the goal of providing sustainable access to clean water in every community by the end of 2028.

Core Responsibilities:

· Asses current software and hardware

· Map user access

· Design training

· Analyze cost

· Develop process guides

· Create online resource library on SharePoint

· Standardize scanning, OCR and PDF consolidation methods

· Develop effective hardware plan that includes SMS Surveys, Tablets, Phones, Laptops and more….

· Launching Burundi hotline & short code

· Support external public facing dashboards and reports

Requirements for this position:

· Demonstrated experience and success collaborating in a team environment for system development and integration, with strong knowledge of system hardware and software configuration, networking, and hardware standup and troubleshooting

· The successful candidate must work well in small to medium size groups. Team leadership abilities are a plus.

· Self-motivated with strong leadership, administrative, and interpersonal skills

· Excellent communication and organizational skills

· Ability to be flexible, dedicated, detail-focused, and team-oriented

· Ability to work as a part of a diverse team, both in support and leadership functions

· Problem/issue reporting and tracking experience

· Experience with compiling, installing, running, and testing functional segments (including third-party software) and making modifications to support different hardware and network configurations

· Experience with organizational management software compilation utilities (Microsoft, CRM, HRIS, Dashboard….)

· Networking skills; familiar with router and switches
