Section I – JOB DESCRIPTION

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The IT Coordinator roleis responsible for supporting and maintaining global IT processes and standards within their NO. Individuals in this role manage services provided to one or more field office locations within a region.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

LEADERSHIP:

·         Provides input into the Cluster IT operating plan and communicates the plan to relevant stakeholders

·         Is familiar with the IT strategy that has been developed to enable the regional strategy

·         Provides IT input to NO leadership team

IT operating plan developed and communicated

Regional IT strategy understood

Healthy business relationships with business partners developed and business needs understood.

IT initiatives developed and managed according to business strategy

STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT:

·         Manages key stakeholder relationships in the National Office

·         Helps identify and document customer requirements for taking through the demand management process

·         Assists with measuring and reporting on customer satisfaction

Healthy business relationships with business partners developed and business needs understood

Effective communication Cluster IT Manager, with staff and clients

Customer satisfaction levels understood

STANDARDS AND POLICIES:

·         Adheres to standards, policies and processes

Adherence to relevant standards, policies and processes
IT OPERATIONS:

·         Responsible for the delivery of IT services in the Cluster according to service level expectations

·         Responsible for ensuring service management processes are understood and followed

·         Responsible for managing the IT asset inventory

IT services in the Cluster are delivered effectively and efficiently in line with service level agreements

Service management processes are understood and followed

IT asset inventory is accurate

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

·         Responsible for service desk queue management

·         Responsible for the provision of customer support

·         Provides support for global and local applications according to existing processes and SLA

·         Assists in managing NO customer expectations throughout the service life cycle

Tickets managed effectively and efficiently in line with SLAs

Customer support meets expectations

BUDGET:

·         Assists Cluster IT Manager in the development and management of the IT budget in the NO

IT budgets developedOperating within budget
VENDOR MANAGEMENT:

·         Identifies contract performance problems and communicates them to the relevant contract manager

Vendor engagement, contracts and payments effectively managed
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:

·         Promotes the spiritual development of staff

·         Meets regularly with team to gather work statuses.

·         Discusses work progress and obstacles.

·         Provides advice, guidance, encouragement and constructive feedback.

·         Ensures work, information, ideas, and technology flow freely across teams.

·         Provides input into development of measurable individual and team objectives that are aligned with business and organizational goals.

·         Assists in the identification of the roles, skills and knowledge required to achieve goals.

·         Provides input into IT workforce deployment activities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Minimum Education, Training and Experience Requirements to Qualify for the Position:

List academic, technical skillsor other knowledgerequired as a minimum qualification for this position.
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
2. Requires experience in supervising and building relationships with people at a variety of levels.

List additional work experiencerequired as a minimum qualification for this position.
1. Typically has at least 5 years of relevant IT and business work experience.
2. Requires demonstrated ability to launch and deliver a single IT project on time and within budget.
3. Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, as necessary.
