MSH is seeking candidates for a new five-year program to provide support in addressing critical human resources challenges in Ethiopia’s health sector. MSH is a key partner in the Jhpiego-led consortium implementing the USAID-funded Health Workforce Improvement Program (HWIP) in which MSH is playing a major role in strengthening Human Resources for Health Management. Position Summary
The LMG Manager/Advisor is responsible for oversight, technical direction, and implementation of strategies and interventions to build capacity in leadership, management, and governance efforts at federal, regional, and local levels. The Advisor will work to build leadership and management capacity across all levels of the health system. The Advisor will design and institutionalize a National Health Sector Leadership Competency Framework and cascade LMG training down to local levels. The Advisor will also work with higher education health institutes to refine and update LMG and HRH curricula.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Advanced or postgraduate degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with specific expertise in leadership and governance; institutional capacity building; human resources for health; and program and financial management. Experience in public health desired.
