Introduction
STOOS Consulting invites Libya-based trainers and specialists to equip women, youth, micro-entrepreneurs, farmers, and VSLA groups with practical skills for income growth, employability, and enterprise resilience.
Description of the Tasks
- Run context and stakeholder analyses to align training with local markets and service ecosystems.
- Co-create Arabic training modules (slides, guides, SOPs, job aids) with clear competency outcomes.
- Facilitate practical workshops (case work, financial simulations, production demos, role-plays).
- Mentor start-ups and MSMEs on business modelling, branding, pricing, cashflow, and compliance.
- Support VSLA formation/strengthening; establish MFI/bank linkages and risk-management practices.
- Integrate digital channels (social commerce, online customer service, basic analytics).
- Conduct pre/post testing, track attendance and progression, and document success stories.
- Produce training/mentoring reports, including recommendations and partner follow-ups.
- Engage private sector for buyer linkages, internships, and PPP pathways.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Residence in Libya; Arabic fluency.
- Relevant degree/TVET in Business, Agriculture, TVET, Livestock, Finance, Economics or related.
- 5+ years designing and delivering livelihoods/enterprise/TVET training and mentorship.
- Evidence of adult-learning facilitation, coaching, and inclusive approaches.
- Understanding of Libyan MSME finance, market systems, and regulatory environment.
- Strong MEL/reporting skills; adherence to safeguarding, inclusion, and Do No Harm.
