About One Acre Fund
Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund equips 5.5 million smallholder farmers to make their farms more productive. Across nine countries that together are home to two-thirds of Africa’s farmers, we provide high-quality farm supplies, tree seedlings, accessible credit, modern agronomic training, and a wide range of other agricultural services. On average, this model enables any farmer to increase their income and assets on supported land by more than 35 percent, while permanently improving their resilience. The Malawi program, established in 2013, serves over 500,000 farmers, providing quality farm supplies and training through our “Core” program, and distributing a range of different tree species through our Agroforestry program which utilizes local nurseries situated close to farmers. Headquartered in Zomba, we operate in two distinct regions of Malawi, the densely-populated Southern region focused on staple crops and the breadbasket Central region with its rich legume and cash crop farming history. About the Role
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the operations and inventory management of a single warehouse. They ensure all products are received, handled, stored, bundled, and distributed to clients within the region. They implement correct and accurate input reception procedures and quality control in their respective warehouse in such a way that reduces shrink and variance in the warehouse. The Warehouse Manager will be reporting to the Logistics Coordinator.
Responsibilities
Ensure Operational Excellence
- You will serve OAF farmers with cost-effective, and well-organized deliveries through execution of planning and best practices.
- You will ensure Key Performance Indicator for all regional warehouses
Reporting
- You will ensure monthly reporting and reconciliation and implement agreed improvements at a single warehouse.
- You will supervise and support daily operations across assigned warehouse(s), including receipt, storage, and dispatch of agricultural inputs.

Qualifications
Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:
- At least 3+ years of logistics, warehouse and operational experience
- Experience managing staff
- Previous experience with SAP Business One is an added advantage
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Operations, Supply Chain, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Agriculture, Science, Logistics or related field
- Frequent travel to warehouse locations
