Background
Emerging Cooking Solutions has been operational in Zambia since 2013. Trading as SupaMoto, we offer the only widely available service converting rural and urban households away from firewood and charcoal use to clean cookstoves. We are currently preparing to distribute one of the most advanced and affordable PAYGO data-enabled clean cookstoves.
Description of Consultancy
Emerging Cooking solutions would like to engage a consultant to develop a marketing and sales strategy for our PAYGO, data-enabled clean cookstove and fuel solution.
The key output of this work will be a “Sales and marketing strategy.” To this end, the consultant will:
· work with our management, marketing and sales team in Lusaka, drawing on ECS- Zambia’s experience in marketing and sales.
· lead an initial pilot of the sales strategy in one compound (tbd) in Lusaka.
Deliverables
· A draft sales and marketing strategy (written and presentation format)
· Management and execution of a pilot roll-out of the sales strategy in one Lusaka compound (tbd)
· Evaluation of sales strategy and management/implementation plan based on pilot (written and presentation format)
· Final sales and marketing strategy (written document).
Team
The assignment is to be carried out by a suitably qualified independent consultant.
Timeframe
The duration of this assignment is from January to June 2020.
