Ethiopian Catholic Church Social Development Commission Branch office of Meki (ECC-SDCOM) is a faith based Non-Governmental Organization having Social Development activities in the Vicariate of Meki. The Social Development activities are carried out under the Social and Development Commission Branch Office.
Ethiopian Catholic Church Social & Development Commission Branch Office of Meki needs to employ personnel on the following Job areas.
Purpose of the Position:
The Nurse, working under the supervision of the branch Meki Kidanmehert Pediatric Catholic Clinic Medical Director, is responsible to provide Nursing care to all patients (dressing, OPD, inpatient, observation room, emergency referral. He/she will ensure that the nursing care protocols are performed according to Oromia health bureau.
Key /Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicate with your medical coordinators daily if you have any problem or you want to communicate any proposal, suggestion.
- Follow clinic procedures for correctly administration of medications to patients.
- Control and keep the rooms, beds, blankets, patient folder and any medical furniture or equipment clean.
- Perform nurse-to-nurse communication to ensure consistency of care from shift to shift.
- Perform family teaching.
Term of Employment: One-year contract with possibilities of extension

Experience:
- With Diploma at least two-year experience & with Degree at least one-year experience.
Competencies /Knowledge, Ability and Skill:
- Strong communicator with good presentation, written and organizational skills.
- Computer skills.
- Fluency in English, Amharic and afaan Oromoo knowledge’s required.
