Under the direct supervision of the Procurement and logistics Officer the incumbent will perform the following tasks;

1- Ensures that all the IOM Libya premises are kept clean and tidy condition.
2- Keeps clean all corridors, stairs, walkways, gardens, toilets and as may be necessary the surrounding area of the IOM Benghazi office.
3- Watering plants and taking care of the garden and all green areas within the office including cutting and adding needed fertilizers, pest controls, …etc.
4- Reports to the person in charge of maintenance any problems with the fittings in bathrooms, toilets, public areas, etc.
5- Check and clean all program stocks of visibility materials/archives at least once a month and insure that all goods are in good condition, and report back on status to Administrative Assistant.
6- Verifies that cleaning effected is up to proper standards and liaises with the administrative assistant concerning scheduling of tasks.

7- Any other duty within within the incumbent’s capabilities as assigned by administrative assistant.

Education :

  • Primary school

Experience :

  • Minimum 2 years of experience of cleaning, preferably previous experience in international organizations.

Languages :

  • Arabic is required Project reporting
