Sob Supervisão do Gestor do Projecto, o Oficial de Monitoria e Prestação de Contas é responsável por:

  • Implementar actividades de avaliação de acordo com as ferramentas e a metodologia desenvolvidas pelo Especialista de MEAL, principalmente implementando pesquisas de avaliação (em campo ou onde a presença em campo não seja possível via telefónica), entrevistas com informantes-chaves, visitas ao local e discussões em grupos focais;
  • Criar e gerir a base de dados do Projecto de Resposta à Emergência da Plan International em Nampula;
  • Garantir a entrada de dados no banco de dados do Projecto, em estrita observância dos protocolos da Plan International;
  • Fazer o controlo de qualidade dos dados que constam nos instrumentos de recolha de dados
  • Apoiar na preparação de relatórios e fornecer a informação do bancos de dados para a elaboração de relatórios;
  • Monitorar o processo de registo de beneficiários, incluindo a assinatura dos mesmos ao longo do processo de distribuição
  • Organizar e actualizar instrumentos de monitoria e avaliação com as equipas
  • Participar em todas as actividades de pré e pós-avaliação do processo de distribuição

Requisitos

  • Ensino Médio Completo
  • Mínimo de 3 anos de experiência nas áreas técnicas de gestão de base de dados
  • Excelentes competências organizacionais e informáticas
  • Capacidade para desenvolver e realizar planos de trabalho e resolver problemas de forma independente
  • Ter trabalhado ou ter conhecimento de Projectos de Resposta à Emergência, incluindo gestão de queixas e reclamações dos beneficiários;
  • Boas habilidades de elaborar relatório e análise;
  • Capacidade de ouvir e se adaptar;
  • Boas habilidades interpessoais;
  • Conhecimento perfeito das línguas locais Shimakonde, Emakwa e Koti
  • Bons conhecimentos de Inglês e Português escritos e orais;
  • Nacionalidade Moçambicana.

Plan International is an international organisation or development which works in 51 countries across Africa, the Americas, and Asia to promote the safeguarding of children.It is a nonprofit organisation and is one of the world's largest organisations based on children, it works in 58,000 communities with the help of volunteers to improve how 56 million children live. The charity also has 21 national organisations who have been given the responsibility to oversee the raising of funds and awareness in their individual countries.

The organisation puts an emphasis on communities working together in order to address the needs of children around the world. The NGO focuses on child participation, education, economic security, emergencies, health, protection, sexual health (including HIV), and water and sanitation. It provides training in disaster preparedness, response and recovery, and has worked on relief efforts in countries including Haiti, Colombia and Japan.

Plan International also sponsors the Because I Am a Girl campaign, which has published many stories focusing on the struggle of young women in the developing world.

Plan International was founded during the Spanish Civil War by British journalist John Langdon-Davies and aid worker Eric Muggeridge. When they witnessed the conflict change the lives of children, they founded ‘Foster Parents Plan for Children in Spain’, which would later change its name to Plan International. Set up in 1937, the organisation provided food, shelter and clothing to children whose lives had been destroyed by the war.
