REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s or equivalent in Public Health
- Experience in coordinating, managing and implementing projects in support of health services in low-income countries
- Previous experience in the Central African Republic will be considered a preferential title
- Excellent knowledge of spoken and written French
- Excellent knowledge of the main IT packages
KEY DUTIES
The Public Health expert will be responsible for a project aimed at strengthening the national health system and supporting the decentralization process and the reference system. The main activities that you will have to deal with will be:
- Coordinate project activities, including direct responsibility for managing human resources and materials
- Provide technical assistance to regional and district health authorities and local staff, including through on-the-job training and supervision visits
- Coordinate and supervise monitoring and evaluation, data analysis, needs assessment and definition of technical assistance actions
- Develop donors periodic reports
- Supervise protocols standardization and harmonization and operational procedures in the intervention areas
- Collect and analyze data, information processes relevant to the management of the health service
- Represent CUAMM towards the beneficiaries, the Ministry of Health, partners and donors
