Amref Health Africa is recruiting a Project Assistant to be based in Afar. S/he will report to the Project Manager.

Purpose of the Job:
Assisting the efficient and effective implementation of the Project

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop implement work plan
  • Develop TOR /adopt relevant material to support field activities
  • Plan, implement  and maintain record on field activities
  • Facilitate training, Discussing  and  meeting, DQSA, community conversation, religious leader ( IMAM)meeting, mobile and outreach session
  • monitor  and report on relevant activities  and impact
  • Submit monthly and quarterly complete, consistent, accurate and valid   ODK and narrative report to project coordinator / manager timely.
  • Fill ERP  during each  activities implementation expenses  and advance settlement through computer based
  • Laisse with relevant partners , stakeholder  and collaborators of activity level
  • Undertake other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Clinical Nurse / Midwife with Diploma holder who has an experience in EPI for 1-3years
  • Committed /willingness to work in hard to reach area in Afar region
  • Experienced in computer , excel, word , Power point  and e mail communication  mandatory
  • Excellent report writing in English mandatory
  • Local language ( Afari)  -advantageous
  • Positive attitude  and team work experience  -advantageous

Terms of employment: 9 months with possible extension
Duty Station: Afar
