IOM is dedicated to promoting humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all. It does so by providing services and advice to governments and migrants.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

1.       Record relevant asset data in PRISM as soon as MIGO/Good receipt is done in the system. Support in QR code asset tagging’s, MAIA tracking’s, and scanning up on receipt of the assets.

2.       Assist in asset assignments, return, transfer, and overall asset movements in coordination with ICT unit focal point and Sr. Supply Chain Staffs.

3.       Provide relevant support in a monthly tracking of lease amortizations and monitoring the day to day expense/revenue transaction of IOM café and provide a monthly Cash Flow report.

4.       Assist the Sr. Supply chain staff in providing a monthly report to finance officer a ZACL and list of beneficiary assets in the system.

5.       Follow up with program units and Legal department for active beneficiary assets awaiting a deed of donations and assist in filing DODs and executing asset retirement in system.

6.       Support Sr. Supply chain staff in facilitating disposal of office assets including vehicles, furniture’s, IT equipment’s and other obsolete assets as needed.

7.       File relevant asset related documentations in e-filing system including asset disposal forms, ATFs that endorsed by HQ-CAS Manilla and other documents like AAF, ARF and Loss/Damage.

8.       Provide clerical support for the renewal of insurance for mission’s assets and project stocks. Assist the Senior Supply Chain in tracking international shipments as may be required.

9.       Assist the Sr. Supply Chain Staff in conducting annual asset accounting and maintenance process.

10.   Perform such other duties including logistics and asset management as may be assigned.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications and Experience

Education

  • University Degree in Business Administration, Procurement and Logistics or alternatively, a combination of related education and experience in this field

Experience

  • Minimum of 3-years’ experience for Degree holders in Logistics and Warehouse work
  • Minimum of 9-months’ consecutive service in IOM with 1st Degree
  • Experience with International Organizations & NGOs is desirable
  • Demonstrated ability of working effectively and harmoniously with colleagues from varied culture and professional backgrounds to achieve desired goals.
  • Analytical, communication, interpersonal and advocacy skills,
  • Good knowledge of computer management and applications.

Languages

  • Fluency in English & Amharic is required
  • Knowledge of local languages is advantageous.
