About the role
We are currently seeking independent consultants who have over 5 years’ experience in providing international development expertise and assistance for projects to join a pool of experts for Short Term Technical Assistance (STTA) for a project in Zimbabwe.
The areas of expertise required are:
• Political Economy Analysis (PEA)
• Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) Local
• Problem-Driven Iterative Adaptation (PDIA) expert
• Grants design
• Conflict analysis
• Sector experts
• Economic governance reform
• Market system development
• Public finance management
• Governance and capacity building
• Economic governance research and policy
About you
Exact requirements will be made clear for each assignment however interested candidates should have the following qualifications, skills and professional experience:
- a minimum of five years’ consultancy experience in international or national technical assistance projects working in one or more of the above areas
- a relevant university degree or postgraduate qualification (master’s degrees also desirable, and may be essential for some opportunities); in the absence of a university degree, equivalent professional work experience of more than 15 years in the related areas will be considered
- at least ten years of professional work experience
- project management skills and a proven ability to work as part of a team
- excellent command of spoken and written English
- expertise in one or more of Crown Agent’s business areas
