Ethiopian Assemblies of God Church Aid and Development Association (EAGC-ADA) is a faith based local non-profit humanitarian NGO that Works in partnership with government agencies, local community and implementing partners. EAGC-ADA is currently operating in Addis Ababa City Administration, Oromia Regional State and Amhara Regional State. Areas of intervention include child care and development, Women Economic Empowerment and Child Feeding.
Position Overview:
Purpose of the position is to facilitate the day to day activities of the project aimed at empowering communities and stakeholders by ensuring promotion of social capital and behavioral change.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare weekly and monthly action plan
- Conduct home visit and monitor the activities of the project participants and submit weekly report and monthly progress report.
- Assist in participant recruitment
- Supervise and monitor the activities and performance of community based volunteers.
- Assist in document development of participants
- Assist in distribution of startup capital for participants
Length of Contract:
- One year with the possibility of extension
Job Requirements
- BA Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related Social Science fields with three 1 year of NGO work experience as development project facilitator
- Strong human relations skills
- Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English and Amharic
- High spirit in teamwork and gender sensitivity
- Female applicants are highly encouraged
