National Youth Development Outreach (NYDO) is a nonprofit organisation whose mission is to seek collective solutions to challenges facing South African youth who are at risk of being in conflict with the Law, by offering both preventative and rehabilitative programmes.
NYDO seeks to appoint a Social Worker, based in Pretoria.
Requirements:
- Registration with SACSSP
- Minimum of three years’ social work experience, experience in the field of Diversion will be an advantage
- A passion for working with adolescents displaying difficult behaviours as well as their families
- Knowledge of the Child Care Act and Child Justice Act
- Report writing skills
- Driver’s license
- Fluency in the following languages will be an advantage, English and Afrikaans
- Self-motivated, creative and passionate
