The organisation achieves this through awareness, prevention, early intervention, statutory intervention, alternative care family reunification services.
CWSA Meyerton seeks to appoint two Social Workers, to be based in Meyerton.
Salary: Will be based on subsidy from the Gauteng Department of Social Development
Requirements:
- Three years B-degree or relevant qualification in Social Work that allows for registration with the SACSSP
- Proof of registration with South African council for social service profession as a social worker
- A minimum of three years’ appropriate experience in social work after registration as a social worker with the SACSSP
- Valid driver’s licence
- Knowledge of all relevant legislation in the Child Protection Field
- Report writing skillsility to lead a team of social work professionals and auxiliary services
- Ability to interpret the Children’s Act in relation to recommendations applicable to the individual case.
- Police- and Child Protection register clearance
- Must be able to communicate primarily in Afrikaans and English
- Statutory services
