Sightsavers is currently seeking a Support Services Manager to coordinate and supervise internal and external administrative/management operations for the Nigeria Country Office.

As the Support Services Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and adherence of policies and procedures within the Country Office. You will ensure that staff and partners comply with Sightsavers policies on IT, work with HR in HQ to deliver on all HR issues in Nigeria and make sure that Sightsavers meets all government regulatory requirements in Nigeria.

You will provide leadership and support for staff to help them perform their duties effectively and identify training needs where necessary, you will organise various office events, travel arrangements and annual work plans for staff. You will monitor deadlines and schedules, ensure organisational compliance to government regulations and standards, work with the Country Safety and Security Officer on safety and security matters and support the Country Director.

As the successful candidate you will have a university degree/ tertiary qualification (or equivalent) in Management Administration/Human Resources/Secretary Ship or similar professional qualification and have extensive experience on working in a similar position within a reputable development organisation. A post graduate degree (or equivalent) will be an added advantage.

Further to the above requirements you will also possess good planning and organisational skills, be able to manage time and resources well, be a multi-tasker, and a good standard of English language skills are required for this role.
