HIV Financing Technical Advisor (TA)  

FHI 360 seeks to recruit a HIV Financing Technical Advisor for a USAID funded Capacity Development & Support (CDS) programme in South Africa. CDS is designed to support the achievement of the goals of the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the Partnership Framework Implementation Plan (PFIP).

Working under the supervision of the Director: Government Support, the HIV Financing Technical Advisor will support the Health Directorate’s work in Budgeting for the National HIV/TB response, Analyse HIV/TB Expenditure; and HIV/TB Financing Reform Proposals in South Africa. The TA will support the Health Directorate in monitoring expenditure and performance of conditional grants to provincial Departments of Health; and be the focal point person for National Health Insurance within the Directorate and coordinate work of consultants in this area. Requirements:  Master’s degree in Health Economics, Public Health, Economics, Development Studies, Public Policy or other relevant field. Five to seven years of experience working in the Health Sector and/or Public Administration; and strong knowledge of the South African Health Sector and Health Policy and Financing is required.
